Integrating digital ruble into government services will simplify payments and make these services easier to use, said Bank of Russia Governor Elvira Nabiullina at the nationwide Multifunctional Center Forum.

"We see prospects in the digital ruble as well. We believe that integrating the digital ruble with state information systems will allow many services that require smart contracts, i.e., automatic payment after a legally significant event occurs, to become very convenient for people. This will be a completely new stage of such integration," Nabiullina was quoted as saying by TASS.
