### Russian Air Defense Intercepts 53 Ukrainian Drones Overnight From 8:00 PM on January 25 to 7:00 AM on January 26, Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 53 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The breakdown of the intercepted drones is as follows: 34 were shot down over Krasnodar Krai (a region in southern Russia), 7 over Rostov Oblast (a region in southwestern Russia), 4 over the Azov Sea, 2 over the Republic of Crimea (a disputed territory claimed by Russia but internationally recognized as part of Ukraine), 2 over Bryansk Oblast, 1 over Kursk Oblast, 1 over Bryansk Oblast again, and 1 over Kaluga Oblast.
