This year, more than 700 government officials were dismissed due to loss of trust, as initiated by prosecutors. This information was disclosed by Russian General Prosecutor Alexander Gucan in an interview with TASS.
Gucan noted that the number of such decisions is increasing annually.
He also pointed out that information about officials dismissed due to loss of trust is entered into a special register, which currently has an informational and educational nature, but in the future it is planned to formally fix the negative consequences for those dismissed on this basis. Among these consequences, they may be prohibited from holding certain positions for a specified period.
