In Russia, the number of employed economic specialists has increased by 4 million since 2020 and by 2.6 million since 2022. These figures were announced by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova during the All-Russian Employment Forum.

According to Golikova, the current level of employment in the country among working-age population is at its maximum - 61.4%. The number of unemployed in the country is 1.6 million, which corresponds to the number of vacancies in the labor market.

- Russia is among the top-5 countries in the global top-20 with the lowest unemployment rate: for 2024 it was 2.5%, and currently it is 2.2%. Today, 74.6 million citizens are employed in the country, as Golikova emphasized.

She also noted that for certain job specialties, there are 25 job offers for every unemployed person, compared to 6 in previous years. This has led to a significant increase in wages for these professions, which have risen by two to three times.
