For the next seven years, the total replacement demand in the labor market in Russia is estimated at 12.2 million workers, of which 11.7 million are retirees and 500,000 are employees needed due to the creation of new jobs. This information was announced by Minister of Labor Anton Kotyakov at the All-Russian Human Resources Forum. - So, on average, we need to attract about 1.7 million people per year, - emphasized Kotyakov. According to him, the most economically in-demand professional group is qualified workers: nurses, paramedics, midwives, electricians, electricians, mechanics, automobile mechanics, set-up operators, mechanics, fitters, machine operators, and industrial plant operators. Kotyakov also noted an increasing demand for specialists with higher education. Over the next seven years, this figure will account for 35% of the total demand for employees, or 1.3 million people. Here, the greatest demand is for specialists in the fields of education and healthcare, as well as for highly qualified professionals in agriculture, trade, and logistics.
