Critical infrastructure objects in Yaroslavl region will be protected from drones by "trained and patriotically-minded" men. On October 28, recruitment began in Danilovsky and Lyubimsky municipal districts of the region for mobile groups.
"Due to the increased threat of damage to critical infrastructure and residential areas in Russian regions caused by increasingly frequent strikes from long-range Ukrainian drones, the Russian Ministry of Defense has opened recruitment for trained and patriotically-minded citizens into mobile fire groups to protect and secure the oil refinery in Yaroslavl. Their specific task will be to guard fuel and the factory from drone attacks," the authorities of Danilovsky district wrote on social media.
Men up to 52 years old are offered to sign a contract as reservists. As part of the agreement, they will undergo training at a training ground for 15 days. The duration of duty is 45 days, during which their jobs and salaries will be preserved.
The authorities emphasized that no one will be sent to the special military operation (SVO). After completing their duty, they will be able to return home.
"Reservists do not participate in the special military operation and will not be sent to the SVO zone," the message also states.
