Government customers could form technical specifications any way they wanted for a whole month. The KTRU standards (a database of strictly defined templates for describing goods, works, and services in public procurement) have ceased to apply in Russia since September 5, including to the "system unit", "monoblock" and "MFP". This was reported in the telegram channel of the Association of Manufacturers of Computers and Peripheral Equipment on 26.20. The incident was called "vacation" there.

The holidays create a legal vacuum and a direct threat to national interests. This undermines the tasks of import substitution and puts Russian manufacturers in obviously unequal conditions," the source explains the problem.

In particular, it is reported that, for example, the "System Unit" was included in the KTRU database in 2018, more than 7 years ago. During this time, it remained unregulated for 30 days 51 times.

In order not to create "periods of lawlessness," the Association requires that the old version of the CTRU continue to be applied until a new one appears - this is the only way to ensure the continuity of the norms.

The new edition of the KTRU rules should come into force in a few days.
