The government of the Russian Federation named the main topic of the upcoming WEF

The Eastern Economic Forum will be held on September 3-6 in Vladivostok under the theme of the Far East - Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Trutnev, the WEF is a key platform for discussing economic, political and social issues in the Asia-Pacific region.

Trutnev stressed that despite the political difficulties, Russia remains open to cooperation. There are preferential regimes in the Far East that attract foreign investors to the territories of advanced development and the free port of Vladivostok.A new mechanism for supporting foreign investors is being developed in the region - the international territory of advanced development.
