According to the results of the first quarter of 2025, the positive balance of foreign trade of the Russian Federation amounted to 31.8 billion dollars. Compared to the same period last year, the indicator decreased by 17.83%. This is reported by the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation.

During the reporting period, Russia reduced exports by $6.9 billion, to $94.9 billion. At the same time, imports remained at the same level — 63.1 billion dollars.

Thus, the trade turnover of the Russian Federation in January—March amounted to 158 billion dollars, which is 4.18% lower year-on-year.
