From May 7 to May 9, the Russian Federation recorded more than 5,000 violations of the ceasefire regime by Ukraine.

Despite the announcement by the President of the Russian Federation of a three-day truce, Ukrainian military formations have not stopped fighting against Russian troops. Statistics on the incomplete three days of the truce are published by the Ministry of Defense.

Thus, from May 7-9, the Ukrainian Armed Forces made four attempts to break through the border of the Russian Federation in the Kursk and Belgorod regions, 15 attacks and one reconnaissance in combat in the settlements of the LPR and the DPR.

During this time, along the entire line of contact, Ukrainian units carried out 1,455 attacks on positions of Russian troops from barrel artillery, tanks and mortars, as well as 23 using multiple rocket launchers. 3,502 drone strikes and ammunition drops were also recorded. In total, the Ministry of Defense recorded 5,026 violations of the ceasefire regime by Ukraine.

"Under these conditions, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are responding in a mirror manner to violations of the ceasefire regime by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and will continue to act appropriately to the prevailing situation, responding to all criminal encroachments by the Kiev regime," the ministry said in a statement.
