Russia remembers the lessons of the Second World War and will never accept attempts to distort history, justify the executioners and slander the true winners. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, opening the Victory Day Parade on Red Square.

- Russia has been and will continue to be an indestructible barrier to Nazism, Russophobia, and anti-Semitism, and will fight the outrages committed by the advocates of these aggressive and destructive ideas. Truth and justice are on our side," the Russian leader stressed.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, over 11.5 thousand military personnel participated in the Victory Day Parade.
