Russian airlines have returned to a regular flight schedule after massive disruptions on May 6 and 7. This is reported by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
The agency explained the disruptions in the work of airlines by the effect of restrictions on the use of airspace, mainly at Moscow airports. "Despite the normalization of air transport operations, the Ministry of Transport and the Federal Air Transport Agency continue to keep the work of airlines and airports under special control," the report says.The Ministry of Transport recommends that the heads of airlines analyze the work of their teams in emergency situations, and pay attention to themselves:
- unconditional compliance with federal aviation regulations concerning the organization of passenger accommodation in hotels and the provision of drinks and food for them during long flight delays;
- creation of a reserve of aircraft;
- improvement of call centers;
- ways to inform about schedule changes;
- improving the communication culture of line staff;
- reducing the time spent by passengers on airplanes after landing at alternate airfields.
