Putin: Russia intends to continue creating comfortable conditions for Chinese companies to operate

At the meeting between Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, the development of the Russian-Chinese partnership was discussed.

-China is an important partner for many Russian regions, especially for the Far East. Chinese economic operators are involved in 63 projects in the territories of advanced development and in the free port of Vladivostok. For our part, we intend to continue creating comfortable conditions for Chinese companies to operate in Russia," Putin said.

Economic cooperation is showing growth: the volume of cargo transportation through border crossings and seaports has reached 176 million tons (+9% in 2024). It is planned to modernize the transport infrastructure and switch border posts to round-the-clock mode.

Humanitarian cooperation is actively developing: during the year, the mutual tourist flow exceeded 2.8 million people. The program of the cross-cultural years of Russia and China is being successfully implemented with an extensive program of events in the cities of both countries.
