The airports of the Moscow region (Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky) are operating normally, receiving and dispatching flights. The Ministry of Transport expects a full restoration of the timetable by 18:00.

As of this morning, there were 51 delayed departure flights and 43 delayed arrival flights. The total number of passengers on delayed flights is more than 14,000, of which 2,440 are awaiting departure.

The reason for the flight delays is due to the late arrival of aircraft from the Moscow air hub to the airports of Barnaul, Gorno-Altaysk, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Novokuznetsk, Novosibirsk, Norilsk, Omsk and Tomsk.
