The Russian Ministry of Transport has banned the prolonged presence of passengers on board the aircraft with restrictions on airport operations. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Transport Vladimir Poteshkin at a meeting of the coordination staff.
Poteshkin stressed that carriers and airports are obliged to promptly resolve such situations. In case of disputes, priority should be given to the interests of passengers. The statement was made on the eve of the May holidays, when an increased load on the aviation infrastructure is expected.
