Due to the increased threat of drone attacks, air traffic in the capital faced serious disruptions on the evening of May 6. According to the latest data, at least 18 planes cannot get permission to take off at Sheremetyevo Airport, and at least 25 more aircraft are forced to circle in the waiting area. An additional 24 flights were redirected to alternate airfields.

The situation at Vnukovo Airport also remains tense, with 13 flights delayed and five cancelled altogether.

At the same time, Domodedovo is experiencing technical difficulties. The official website of the air hub is temporarily unavailable, which makes it difficult for passengers to obtain up-to-date information.

The total number of delayed flights at the Moscow air hub has already exceeded 30, and the situation may worsen if the threat of UAV use persists.

On the evening of May 6, the Moscow region and neighboring regions came under a massive UAV attack, and a number of aircraft have already been destroyed.
