According to data as of April 30, potato prices from domestic producers are 35.7 rubles per kg. In retail, potatoes are sold at 85.4 rubles per kg.
The ministry noted that in 2025, in order to increase its own production, it is planned to increase the acreage for potatoes to 286.3 thousand hectares. Potato planting has already started in most Russian regions.
