In the period from January to April 2025, the volume of exports of Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) decreased by 4.6% and amounted to 10.4 million tons, which is 0.5 million tons less than in the same period last year. These data were obtained based on preliminary information from LSEG, according to Reuters. 

In April, the volume of LNG exports from Russia decreased by 9% and amounted to 2.5 million tons, which is 0.25 million tons less than in April last year.

In the first four months of the year, the volume of LNG supplies from Russia to Europe decreased by 13% and amounted to 5.3 million tons, which is 0.8 million tons less than in the same period last year. In April, exports in this direction decreased by 14.3% and amounted to 1.2 million tons, which is 0.2 million tons less than in April last year.
