By the end of 2024, sales of new trucks in Russia fell by almost 20%

In 2024, more than 102,000 new large-tonnage trucks (weighing more than 16 tons) were sold in Russia. In annual terms, the market fell by 18.8%. This is reported by the agency Autostat.

lt;p>gt;A significant part of the large-capacity truck market (19%) is occupied by Chinese SITRAK vehicles. During the year, 19.4 thousand such cars were sold in Russia. The domestic KAMAZ moved to the second place over the past year - 17.2 thousand cars sold. Then the Chinese car brands Shacman (15.7 thousand), FAW (11.6 thousand), Dongfeng (8.2 thousand units) are located again.

At the same time, it was noted that for Dongfeng and Sany trucks, sales growth for the year amounted to 99.8% and 77.4%, respectively. Other brands from the TOP 10 showed a decline. The most serious was recorded in Foton (56.8%).
