The Russian court arrested the ICC judge in absentia, who ordered the arrest of Shoigu and Gerasimov

The judge of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Haikel Ben Mahfoud, was arrested in absentia by the Basmanny Court of Moscow. This is reported by TASS.
Earlier, the Russian authorities of the preliminary investigation appealed to the court with a demand for the arrest of Mahfoud. A criminal case was opened against him under the article "Knowingly illegal detention or detention". Punishment for violation of this provision of the law in Russia is provided in the form of forced labor or imprisonment for up to four years.
Haykel Ben Mahfoud came under article in the Russian Federation for issuing sanctions for the arrest of former Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov. The ICC judge was arrested in absentia and put on the international wanted list.
