Makhachkala airport was temporarily closed

The work of Makhachkala International Airport has been temporarily suspended due to a possible drone attack. This is reported by TASS with reference to the leadership of the air harbor.

"The airport is closed indefinitely due to the incident with a drone in Kaspiysk," said airport CEO Said Ramazanov.

The Federal Air Transport Agency also reports that restrictions have been introduced at the airport to ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights. The boarding and departure of aircraft is temporarily not carried out.

At about 9 a.m. on November 6, the head of the region, Sergey Melikov, announced in a telegram channel about the downed drone over the Caspian Sea.
