Electric buses of domestic production have been launched in 10 regions of Russia. This was reported by the telegram channel of the Russian Government.
It is known from the message that on the sidelines of the Innoprom 2024 exhibition in Yekaterinburg, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Grigorenko spoke about the results of the program for the development of public electric transport. According to him, 267 electric buses have already been delivered to the Russian regions, which is 93% of the total volume. 109 charging stations have been installed on the routes to operate the new transport. This task is 100% completed. Modern low-floor trams have been launched in four regions of Russia. They are equipped with climate control, USB charging, information screens and validators. A total of 177 trams were delivered to the regions of Russia. This is almost a third of the planned volume.Tram deliveries under the program have been fully completed in two regions – in the Lipetsk and Saratov regions. In the Perm Region, deliveries are ahead of schedule. New trams transport passengers along the updated tram tracks. Construction work has started in 9 regions. Over 98 km of seamless rails have been laid.
The program for the integrated development of urban electric transport is designed until 2028. Its financing is carried out at the expense of federal and regional budgets, loans « VEB.Russian Federation» and private investment.
