Russian Air Defense Forces Destroy 140 Ukrainian Drones Over Russian Regions Overnight

### Russian Air Defense Intercepts Massive Drone Attack On the night of June 9, Russian air defense systems intercepted and neutralized a large-scale drone attack. According to the Ministry of Defense, air defense units detected, intercepted, and destroyed 140 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of aircraft type. The drones were eliminated over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Oryol, and Tula regions, as well as in the Moscow area and the Republic of Crimea (a region annexed by Russia in 2014 and internationally recognized as part of Ukraine). Additionally, UAVs were shot down over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas. All detected targets were promptly engaged and destroyed by on-duty air defense systems. Emergency and operational services are currently working at the sites where drone debris has fallen.
