Ushakov Stated That Moscow Does Not Accept the EU Peace Plan

The Kremlin has categorically rejected the new peace plan proposed by the European Union for resolving the situation in Ukraine, describing it as "completely unconstructive" and unacceptable to Russia. The harsh assessment was given by Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov immediately after the publication of the European proposals.
"As for the plans that are floating around: we learned about the European plan this morning, which, at first glance, is completely unconstructive and does not suit us," Ushakov stated at a briefing for journalists.
At the same time, the high-ranking Kremlin representative made an important diplomatic distinction, stating that many points of the alternative U.S. peace plan, which had been discussed earlier in Alaska, are, on the contrary, acceptable to Moscow.
