By the end of this year, the State Duma may adopt a law establishing a differentiated interest rate for family mortgages depending on the number of children in the family, reports RIA Novosti citing Anatoly Aksakov, head of the Duma Committee on Financial Markets. According to Aksakov, there are currently discussions about reducing the interest rate to 4% for families with the birth of a third child, maintaining the rate at 6% for families with two children, and increasing the rate to 10-12% for families with one child. Additionally, there are ongoing discussions about further reducing the interest rate for families with four or more children.
