Can the economy grow faster than the forecast predicts? The answer to this question was given by Elvira Nabiullina, Chair of the Central Bank, speaking at the State Duma.

"Yes, it can. On the condition that limited conditions are given to those enterprises where labor productivity is increasing. Because lending at a low rate to unprofitable companies is a road to nowhere. In the context of a labor shortage, a supply-side economy is about efficiency, productivity, and redistribution of resources to more productive sectors. In my opinion, the conversation about accelerating growth should start with this. In my opinion, this is the key to faster growth," Nabiullina stated.
